The sensing and detection component of electromechanical systems

The sensing and detection section comprises various sensors and their associated signal‑conditioning circuits.

The purpose of the mechatronics experiment is to detect changes in both internal system parameters and external environmental variables during the operation of a mechatronic system, and to transmit this information to the electronic control unit. In turn, the electronic control unit processes the sensed data and issues appropriate control signals to the actuators.
