The principle of a micro vibration motor
Micro‑vibration motors, primarily used in mobile phones, are brushed DC motors. An eccentric wheel is mounted on the motor shaft; as the motor rotates, the center of mass of this eccentric wheel does not coincide with the motor’s axis of rotation, causing the motor to remain in a state of continuous imbalance and generating vibration due to inertia.
Its products are widely used in mobile communication devices and wearable gadgets, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, fitness trackers, and smartwatches.
